The Tarot - A Guiding Hand

Just where and when the tarot originated is a matter of contention.  Some say Egypt, some say France.  What is generally accepted is that it began as a game although no-one seems to know how the game was played.  When found on Gypsies wandering Europe around the 1780s, they had Egyptian pictures on them and after several people popularised them, there were French decks, Egyptian decks, Angel decks, animal decks...you name it.  Many people have designed their own deck.

Unlike conventional playing cards, which can also be used for fortune telling by many with “the gift”, the cards has a deck of 78, divided into the minor arcana and the major arcana.  The minor arcana, of 56 cards is basically the four plain suits of the conventional card deck.  Then the tarot has a major arcana made up of 22 cards whose titles many believe are self-explanatory.

New Age Promotions’ psychics say that although each card can be given a basic meaning, that meaning doesn’t apply to everyone because the cards actually act as a conduit for a genuine psychic, merely enhancing and embroidering the information being received by them.  One thing our psychics do claim - and are adamant about - is that the cards NEVER lie.  They may be interpreted wrongly but they never lie and hindsight has always shown this.

Anyone wanting to use a set of tarot cards should first of all respect them, wrap them in a cloth and sleep with them under your pillow.  They won’t harm you but you should bond with them.  And they will provide you with a guiding hand through life.

For those of our customers who are fascinated by the tarot decks, we list the conventional meanings of the cards here.  None of the cards by themselves are “nasty”, none spell “disaster” and none should be feared in any way.  They bring messages from beyond or allow us to tap into something within ourselves that guides us through life.  The readings you get will change as you chop and change your mind.  And remember, they rarely answer the question you ask but point to an underlying, more important question that you are either ignoring or which affects the question you are asking.

Any psychic will tell you that the cards are special and should be treated with respect because they appear to be used as a vehicle for the conveyance of information - answers to your questions or warnings of mistakes you are about to make if you continue on the course you are on or go ahead with plans that promise a happy outcome.  They always direct your attention to the bigger issue, affecting the question you are asking.

Whatever your beliefs.  Treat the tarot with respect and remember not to abuse them.  They are a tool to help you but you must exercise free will or you are robbing yourself of the present which, in itself, is a gift - that’s why it’s called the present!

Remember you can get a free spell card of your choice if you have called on of OUR numbers and spoken to one of our psychics.  If you have phoned then JUST CLICK HERE TO CLAIM YOUR CARD .
