What is a dream? Is it our subconscious mind trying to make sense of all that has happened to us during our waking hours and fitting that information
neatly into little filing cabinets? Is it a state of mind that allows guardian angels to guide us? Or is it our sleeping selves accessing what Jung termed the
collective unconscious - a celestial library of all the knowledge gained by our ancestors?
Whatever you believe is a matter of faith because, at the end of the day for all our advanced technology, there is a huge part of the brain that we know
absolutely nothing about. Can we see the future in dreams? There is research to suggest we can. Can we control dreams. Again, it would appear, from
research, that some of us can.
Many cultures believed in the power of dreams. They believed in collective dreaming to change certain things and to access information.
Psychiatrists, psychologists, analysts, therapists.....they can read all the books on all the shelves and still be proved wrong by someone with no
qualifications whatsoever. One thing that research on dreaming has shown us is that access to information about the future or the ability to control
our dreams is not dependant on qualifications, status, gender or culture.
It is for this reason that we have decided to conduct some research of our own and let our visitors interpret each other's dreams by means of a Dream
Forum.
It costs nothing to join and by entering your dream you may be helping someone else. Or someone may be able to put a fresh slant on a dream that has
been puzzling you.
